Contact
We are available for visits at our office in northern Bangkok, but you should make an appointment in order to make sure the appropriate agent(s) is/are here. Our address and phone number are given below the contact form. An agent can also meet you at your hotel or another place convenient to you sometimes.
We prefer that you contact us initially via Internet at (not "info" but "inbox") or by the contact form below.
We will usually respond within 1 to 24 hours.
The question about about "Preferred main contact" means whether you want your Point of Contact (POC) to be a Thai person or an expat (always Mark, an American). You can just answer this question as "Expat" or "Thai" or "Either", that simple. We have one expat on our team fulltime, and several Thais. Usually, expats prefer an expat POC as correspondent, and Thais prefer a Thai POC. Expats tend to prefer to convey their concerns to another expat for full comprehension, and the expat in turn manages the Thai agents, and we also have a translation and interpreter division of our company (see www.ThaiEnglish.com and note the same address but slightly different phone number). However, we have two Thais who are fairly fluent in English (Khun Wanida the well-read former journalist, and Khun Supat with a Masters in Management from New Zealand). Most field agents can read/write English for SMS and email, but hearing/speaking is another matter, and their reports are normally written in their native Thai language for completeness, then translated by K. Wanida or K. Supat, and then double-checked for completeness by Mark as the POC.
If you have an email address that is comcast.net or aol.com then we won't reply much because the messages will usually return as undeliverable after a few days so we've wasted time and effort. Those two ISPs are terrible -- comcast.net and aol.com (aka a-o-hell). I have two family members who use them, so I know both sides of those problems. If you have comcast.net or aol.com then set up and use a gmail.com account (or another webmail account) for your email.
The request for your phone number is listed on the form because sometimes our email is returned as "undeliverable" or else we get a repeat enquiry asking why we haven't replied when we did already. We generally don't phone or SMS anyone unless this happens, or if a case is urgent within the next few hours, as email is usually preferred so we don't interrupt or bother you at the wrong time and for discretion. If you are confident about your email, then you can leave the "phone or SMS" field blank.
We are sometimes available for live chat, if the icon below is flashing "Live chat now" instead of "Please leave a message".
